Incredible $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
